“DEDA” ( Mother in Georgian language ) is a performance about the wounds we inherit and the identities we are forced to carry. Through Butoh, fashion, movement and visual storytelling, the piece explores love, control, perfectionism, grief, and the painful process of becoming yourself.
Structured in three acts: Birth, Transformation, and Death/Rebirth the performance moves through destruction and healing, asking what remains when we stop trying to earn our worth.
