The Chorus Fashion Theatre & Pop-Up

The Chorus Fashion Theatre & Pop-Up is a multidisciplinary fashion and cultural event presented by Aianadi during Berlin Fashion Week.

Bringing together emerging and established designers, live performance, fashion theatre, and creative networking, the event creates a space where fashion extends beyond presentation and becomes a form of artistic expression, storytelling, and dialogue.

The evening begins with a curated Fashion Pop-Up featuring independent designers and creative brands, offering visitors the opportunity to discover collections, connect with designers, and engage with contemporary fashion practices.

At the heart of the event is THE CHORUS Fashion Theatre, an immersive performance guided by the Aianadi Method, a multidisciplinary approach created by Mariami Aianadi that uses fashion as a medium to explore emotional and cultural narratives through dramaturgy, movement, performance, and visual storytelling.

Inspired by the ancient Greek chorus as a collective body, THE CHORUS explores themes of control, transformation, identity, feminine consciousness, love, loss, and liberation. This edition follows a protagonist whose life is transformed through separation and emotional upheaval. As she is stripped away from everything she once knew, a journey of self-liberation begins. The body changes. The movement changes. The gaze changes. What begins as destruction gradually becomes transformation.

Through fashion theatre, the work examines how personal transformation can challenge inherited roles, reshape identity, and ultimately influence those around us. By merging fashion, performance, sound, and storytelling, THE CHORUS creates a shared experience where garments become vehicles for emotion, memory, and cultural expression.

The program concludes with a networking gathering and afterparty, bringing together artists, designers, media professionals, industry guests, and the wider creative community.
